Man Drags Ex-Wife To Court On OsunFor Life Threat

A 49-year-old man, Mr Sulaiman Abdullahi, has sued his ex-wife, Mrs. Folashade Abdullahi, in the Osogbo Magistrate’s Court sitting in Osogbo over the threat.

Prosecutor Fagboyinbo Abiodun told the court that the accused threatened to kill him in the Dele Yesa area of ​​Osogbo, the capital of Osun State on November 22, 2021, around 1:00 p.m. of the day.

However, Abiodun further alleged that the accused had repeatedly disturbed the peace at work and at home before the deadline.
He added that the violence was a factor that led to the breakdown of their marriage and the birth of three children in 2006.

According to the prosecutor, the offense is contrary to section 249 of the Code Cap. 35 Vol. II of Criminal Code Cap.34 Osun State Law of Nigeria 2002.

Mrs Folashade Abdullahi has denied the allegations.

Meanwhile, the suspect, who could not complete her bail, was remanded in custody
The case is being re-assigned to December 22, 2021.
