Man Arrested With Fresh Human Parts In Osun
The news reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that a suspected ritualist with fresh mutilated human parts was on Wednesday arrested by the residents of Igege community in the Ola-Oluwa Southeast Local Council Development Authority of Osun State.
According to the report, the suspected ritualist, who was beaten to a pulp by the residents, was later handed over to operatives of the Osun Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun.
,,,,,,, Report also revealed that the man was accosted by residents and was forced to unpacked the content of his “Ghana must Go” bag, which was discovered to be human parts.
…..Confirming the incident, the Chairman of Ola-Oluwa Southeast LCDA, Sunday Olaifa demanded comprehensive investigation into how the suspect found the part caught in his possession.
Olaifa disclosed that the man has been taken to Osogbo, the state capital to avoid a situation where residents may try to lynch him.
“It is true the man was caught with body parts, but we demand that the case be diligently investigated as the suspect claimed he was set up by his “supposed” son-in-law, hence, the matter should be properly investigated,” he said.
,,,, While speaking, Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, noted that the state commissioner of police has been briefed on the incident, adding that police officers have been deployed to the scene.
Opalola promised to provide more details on the incident.
