JUST IN: South-East Security Challenge, Fulani Vigilante Group recruitment commences to curb insurgence (photo)
The Fulani social cultural group, known as Miieti Allah has announced the mass recruitment into the Fulani Vigilante Group (FVG) as one the moves to curb the incessant killings of Nigeria citizens by enemies of Fulani society.
The group also pleaded with the good people of South East to cooperate with the newly recruited vigilante in order to bring peace between Fulani community and their host communities within the states and its environs.
The commander of the group, Adamu Dan-Fulani commended the Ebonyi State Governor, thanking him for his support towards making sure peace returns to the state between the herdsmen and farmers.
Dan-Fulani pleaded with other governors to embrace this Idea of securing Nigeria for peaceful coexistence between Fulanis and their host communities.
Meanwhile, it was reported few days ago that the Governor of Ebonyi State has extended hands of friendship to Miieti Allah group, promising full cooperation and support by the Ebonyi State government across board.
