JUST IN: Popular Yoruba Monarch Joins Ancestors

Information reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that the Onikoyi of Ikoyi-Ile in Oriire Local government area of Oyo State, Oba Abdulyekeen Ayinla Oladipupo IV, has joined his ancestors.

According to the report, the monarch died on Wednesday evening after a brief illness.

Until his death, Oba Oladipupo was the chairman of the traditional council in Oriire local government area of Oyo state.

The monarch ascended the throne in 2006 when he succeeded Oba Bello Adesite.


Although there is no official announcement yet from the family, a reliable source hinted that Oba Ayinla’s demise would be announced soon.
