A former local government party Secretary of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has tendered his resignation from the party.

The resignation of Oluwaseyi Adeniyi, who was the party Secretary in Ifedayo Local Government area of Osun state, was contained in a letter made public on his Facebook page on Friday 12th August, 2021, where he announced his formal resignation.

Adeniyi said his decision to denounce the party after 11 years of his membership was attached to the unabated crisis in the party without any solution at sight, pointing out that he has joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in January 2010, and officially in November when opposition party took over the mantle of leadership in the State.

“Ever since then, I have remained a committed and loyal Party man (many people can testify to this) despite the poor outings of the party since then”, Adeniyi said.
