JUST IN: Ex-Military Governor, Olukoya is dead

The news reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that a former Military Governor of Ondo State and retired Rear Admiral, Abiodun Olukoya is dead.

According to the report, the deceased died after suffering an illness on Tuesday.

……Olukoya was the Governor of the united States between 1989 and 1992, before Ondo and Ekiti were divided. During the General Ibrahim Babangida dictatorship, he was the helmsman of Ondo from September 1990 to January 1992.

…..Retired Commodore Olabode George was succeeded by Olukoya, who was thereafter turned over to Chief Bamidele Olomilua.

At the time of filing this report, detail of his funeral arrangements is yet to be announced.
