JUST IN: APC Expels Party Chieftain

The internal issue within the Rulling All Progressive Congress (APC) is getting messier as Delta State chapter of the party expelled its former Deputy Chairman, Elvis Ayomanor.

According to the report, Executive Committee of the party in Sapele Ward 7, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, ratified his expulsion over alleged anti-party activities.

……The decision was based on a recommendation of the Ward Disciplinary Committee.

…..According to the Executive Committee, the expulsion was pursuant to Article 21, Paragraph B (i) of the APC Constitution (as amended).

…….A letter expelling the former party leader was unanimously endorsed by the Chairman and 25 other members of the Ward executive.

……“Upon receipt of the decision of the Disciplinary Committee, which was transmitted to the Executive Committee of the APC for Sapele Ward 7, vide a letter dated 13th September 2021, an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the APC for Sapele Ward 7, was held today, 14th September 2021, at the Party Ward Secretariat and after properly reviewing the report/decision of the Disciplinary Committee, we the members of the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress for Sapele Ward 7, hereby ratify the decision of the Disciplinary Committee expelling Mr Elvis Ayomanor from the APC. Accordingly, Mr Elvis Ayomanor stands expelled,” the letter explained.
