Jealous Housewife stabs Husband to death

Reports reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that, a housewife simply identified as Atika on Monday stabbed her husband to death in Mararaba, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to the report, the woman killed her husband on Saturday out of jealousy for his second wife.

,,,,It was gathered that the deceased, who was a 37-year-old mechanic, was killed when he went to the suspect’s room, being his first wife, to bid her farewell before going to his second wife’s room within the same compound.

……Reports had it that the deceased used to spend two nights with each of the wives on a rotational basis and had the habit of bidding farewell to any of them anytime he was leaving for the other’s room.

,,,,“And that was what he did that day around 8pm, only for Atika to respond angrily and bite his finger,’’ a source within the compound said.

Salihu’s mother, Hajiya Hauwa Umar, was quoted by Daily Trust to have said: “The other wife rushed to his rescue and was trying to tie the affected finger, but again the first wife, who had already locked the compound’s gate, held him from the back and stabbed him on the neck continuously.”

…..“Salihu was confirmed dead at the hospital and was buried yesterday morning according to Islamic injunction, while the suspect is said to be in police custody,” the deceased’s mother added.
