IleriOluwa Development Initiative Extends Humanitarian Support To Iragbiji, Ikirun, Ede Residents; Distributes Welfare Packages To Motorcyclists

In continuation of it’s efforts to cushion the effect of the current economy and financial predicament among people, the IleriOluwa Development Initiative has distributed food items, fuel and nose masks to association of motorcyclists and tricyclists in Iragbiji, Ede and Ikirun respectively.

According to the report made available to OSUNREPORTERS NEWS by Sikiru Tijani on Monday in Osogbo, the charity organization donated food items such as pack of beans and noodles to hundreds of residents, and group of commercial motorcyclists and tricyclists known as OSCOMORON received free fuel to support their businesses, while thousands of nose masks were also distributed across the threw major cities in Osun.

According to him, the gesture is part of the charitable agenda of the President of IleriOluwa Development Initiative, who is the FirstLady of the State, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola to help the masses, while the philanthropic gesture was aimed at extending helping hands to the vulnerable as part of the aims and object of the organization, especially to mitigate the harsh impact of Covid-19 global pandemic on the residents.

Sikiru Tijani added that this is not the first time the organization would be reaching out to the people of Osun, adding that the residents should continue to adhere strictly and ensure full compliance with the government directives against Covid-19 deadly virus.

In his words, “We should thank the FirstLady of the State of Osun, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola who is the President of the IleriOluwa Development Initiative, for this humanitarian services to the people of Osun.

“The organization has being doing it to assist and rescue thousands of Osun residents, most especially at this critical time of Coronavirus global pandemic.
About 350 beneficiaries were recording in both Iragbiji and Ikirun, about 200 benefited in Ede town, while thousands have received free nose masks.
We urge our people to adhere to the lay down rules against the spread of Covid-19 across Osun.

Appreciating the kind gesture on behalf of beneficiaries, the leadership of motorcyclists in Osun State, OSCOMORON gave kudos to the philanthropic gesture of IleriOluwa Development Initiative under the Osun State FirstLady, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, adding that the government of Governor Oyetola will succeed beyond 2023.
