“I Beheaded My Boss Because He Wanted To Use Me For Money Ritual” – Suspect Confess

Due to the death treat received by his boss, the victim decided to kill him first to avoid being killed.

A man identified as Francis Awuni, from Amoakrom, a community in the Western North Region of Ghana has explained how he killed his boss on the account that his boss had threatened to kill him for money rituals.

As narrated by the victim, a well-built man identified as Papa Azuma Kusaasi, who was a landlord decided to employ Francis Awuni from the Northern Region to help him in his farm activities. The two have been living together with wife and three children belonging to landlord for about three months in a cordial relationship.

He said his boss attached him while others were not at home. The two struggled for some time but the young man overpowered his boss and killed him with a sharp machete. After committing the crime, he kept the head of his boss in a rubber bag. It is unknown what he was seeking to use the head for but he surprisingly runs to the police and reported himself.

While confessing to the crime, he led the police to where he kept the body, as esidents in the community were reportedly at a loss on why human being will be so callous to do such evil.

The wife and children of the late Papa Awuni Kusaasi could not hold on to their tears after they returned home to meet the lifeless body of the head of their family. The body of the late Papa Awuni Kusaasi has been deposited at the Essam Government hospital.

As at the time of filing this report, the suspect has been taken to the police custody for further investigation.
