House of Reps holds emergency plenary today

For the second time in less than ten days, the House of Representatives is to hold an emergency plenary session today to deliberate on critical issues of national importance.

At its last emergency sitting on Wednesday, May 4, the House had adjourned till May 24, 2022 to allow members participate in primaries of their various political parties ahead of the 2023 elections.

But a one paragraph statement from the Clerk to the House, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria did not give details of the issues to be discussed during the emergency sitting slated for today.

,,,The letter however informed all Honourable Members, staff, media of the green chamber and the general public of the emergency plenary session against Monday, 9th May, 2022 at 2:00pm to discuss critical issues of national importance.
