Hours To Official Handover: Amosun, Ambode Edit Twitter Profile To Ex-Governor
In less than 24 hours to the handover of the Governors in Nigeria to another set of elected Governors in many states of the federation, Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has edited their tweeter account profiles to “former governor”
Amosun was elected in 2001 as the Ogun State Governor while Ambode was elected in 2015.
The official handing over ceremony will come up on Wednesday 29th May, 2019 where Babajide Sanwo-olu will succeed Ambode as Logos State governor, and Amosun will hand over to Dapo Abiodun as new governor of Ogun state.
