Ganduje declares curfew as INEC declares NNPP candidate winner of guber polls

,,,,,Governor of Kano State, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje has declared a dawn to dusk curfew as the Independent National Electoral Commission announced the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Abba Kabiru Yusuf as the winner of the Governorship Election in the State.

Yusuf polled 1, 019,602 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress and incumbent Deputy Governor, Nasir Gawuna who had 890,705 votes.

,,,To avoid breakdown of law and order, Ganduje has declared a dawn to dusk curfew as the tension was mounting in the State following the ongoing collation.
