Fresh Update On Mohbad’s Autopsy Emerge

…..The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that the autopsy on the late singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has been completed, and the results are awaited. This update was provided by the Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post on his social media account.

Earlier, it was disclosed that the singer’s remains were exhumed for the purpose of conducting an autopsy in the Gberigbe area of Ikorodu.

Following Mohbad’s untimely demise last week, Nigerians have been expressing their grief and calling for justice. In response to the public outcry, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun issued a directive for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the rapper’s passing.

…..Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State also took action, inviting the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the probe. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring a thorough investigation and called on individuals with relevant information to come forward.

Additionally, the law firm of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has requested a coroner’s inquest into the tragic death of Mohbad. In a letter addressed to the Chief Coroner of the High Court of Lagos State, the firm highlighted the mysterious circumstances surrounding the incident and urged for a comprehensive inquiry.

…..The letter stated that given the unfortunate demise of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, it is imperative to conduct a coroner’s inquest to establish the cause of death and make appropriate recommendations, as mandated by the Lagos State Coroner’s Law 2007. The firm expressed confidence in the Chief Coroner’s prompt attention to this matter.
