“Fraudsters Are Using My Name, Photos, Phone Number To Defraud People” – Titi Laoye-Tomori Warns Public Against Impostors

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun State, Chief Mrs Titilayo Laoye-Tomori has disclaimed the act perpetrated by some impostors who hacked her personal phone number to carryout evil act on social media.

In a public service announcement made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS on Wednesday in Osogbo, duly signed by Her Excellency. she noted that the general public should be aware of scammers using her phone number, name and photographs on Facebook to dupe innocent citizens under the pretence of a fictitious INVESTMENT programme.

The fraudster, as at the time of filling this report, was chatting people up on Messenger and Facebook telling them to invest in a fake forum tagged “NAIJA BLESSED FORUM” where people were been defrauded.

“My attention has been drawn to a fraudster who hacked my cell phone number to impersonate my person and defraud people through Facebook and Messenger using my picture and name.

“It has been brought to my notice that the same group of scammers have been using the said Facebook account to dupe innocent citizens under the pretence of a fictitious “investment programme” tagged ‘NAIJA BLESSED FORUM’

“I hereby draw urgent attention of the general public to any information regarding that account. I did not initiate any investment programme or order anyone to do so on my behalf, and I do not have a facebook nor twitter accounts.

“Members of the public, particularly my admirers should
please take note.”
