Former Nigerian Goalkeeper Is Dead (Photo)
Information reaching the OsunReporters News has it that the former Super Falcons goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni, has died.
According to reports, Aluko-Olaseni died after an eight-year battle with cancer.
While announcing her passage, the Nigerian Football Federation in a post via its X account, @thenff late Saturday night said, “We are sad to hear of the passing of former @NGSuper_Falcons goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni after an eight-year battle with cancer.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”
Aluko-Olaseni’s was a goalkeeper for the Super Falcons with remarkable skills. She contributed her talents to teams such as Rivers Angels and Sunshine Queens.
At the time of filing this report, details of her death and burial arrangements are still sketchy.
