First Nigerian accountant, Pa Akintola Williams dies at 104
…..The number one chartered accountant in Nigeria, Pa Akintola Williams, has died.
He was reported to havedied in his sleep in the early hours of today, Monday, September 11, 2023. He was aged 104.
Late Pa Akintola was the country’s first indigenous chartered accountant, who pioneered Nigeria’s accounting profession.
….He was born in 1919, and he studied accounting at the University of London and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1947.
