Federal Character Commission lauds Oyetola’s leadership style
The Federal Character Commission, on Thursday, commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun on the strides recorded in spite of the little allocation that comes to the State.
The Commission describing Oyetola’s calm and disposition as the hallmarks of good leadership, said Osun is blessed to have him as its leader.
The Chairperson of the Commission, Hajiya Muheeba Dankaka OON, during a courtesy call on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at his office in Abere, Osogbo, restated the Commission’s resolve to ensure equitable distribution of opportunities among States, assuring that no state will be marginalised.
“We assure the state that our Commission will stay true to its mandate to ensure that no state is marginalised or shortchanged, and that includes Osun state.
“But we must commend Osun State, such a blessed State. I must particularly appreciate the leadership style of Governor Oyetola who has impacted the State positively in spite of the little allocation that comes to it.
“His calm and peaceful disposition is indeed a hallmark of good leadership”, Dankaka said.
In his remark, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola appreciated the Commission for its efforts at ensuring national unity and cohesion of the federation units.
According to Oyetola: “We look forward to equitable distribution of opportunities, especially in ways that can impact our teeming youth population.
“We thank the Commission for its interventions in the past, present and in advance for what it will do in the future to protectOsu’s interest”, Oyetola said.
The Commission’s Chairperson was accompanied on the courtesy call by the FCC’s Commissioners in Osun, Oyo, Ekiti and Abia as well as the Secretary of the Commission and the Osun Coordinator.
