Ex-Minister, Postor lead hunger protest

Amidst nationwide protest against hardship, a former Nigerian Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung on Thursday led the protest against bad governance, hunger and economic hardship in Jos, Plateau State.

According to reports, he led the protest alongside Prophet Isa El-Buba, a popular pastor, drawing hundreds of residents to the streets whike demonstrators marched through various streets, voicing their dissatisfaction with the current state of governance and the ongoing economic difficulties in the country.

,,,,,,,Dalung, who previously served under ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, emphasized the constitutional right to peaceful assembly and urged security agencies not to intimidate the demonstrators.

…… Prophet El-Buba, leading the Initiative for a Better and Brighter Nigeria, called for President Bola Tinubu to step down, criticizing his management of governance, expressing the urgency of the situation, stating that waiting until 2027 for change is untenable due to the prevailing hunger and hardship.

,,,,,El-Buba vowed that the protests would continue for the next ten days, urging citizens to stand up for their rights.


“President Bola Tinubu must resign; we cannot wait for 2027 to change him! Hunger will not all us to endure that long. We are going to be here for the next 10 days, if you don’t stand up for your rights, no one will do it for you,” he said
