Encomium as Aaraj extends ‘Ileya’ gifts to Isale-Osun elders (Photos)
Ahead of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Osogbo born Civil Engineer, Kehinde Raji popularly known as Aaraj has extended Sallah gifts to the aged people in Isale-Osun community, OsunReporters News gathered.
Aaraj who hails from Isale-Osun Osogbo, on Tuesday honoured the heads of 157 family compounds in Isale-Osun ahead of this year’s Eid celebration.
It should be recalled that Aaraj had through his foundation declared N10m worth of sallah rams and gifts for the less privileged Muslims across Osun state.
According to a post via his verified Facebook page on Tuesday, Aaraj expressed satisfaction for reaching out to the leadership of Isale-Osun community ahead of this year’s Sallah, praying for all Muslims for a successful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In the videos attached to his post, aged people were seen appreciating and praying for Aaraj after receiving a financial gift in an envelope.
The facebook post reads: “The bible instructs us as children to honour our parents so that it shall be well with us, its another festive (ILEYA) season, I deemed it fit to honour the 157 family compound heads from ISALE OSUN, OSOGBO where I hale from with a token of scriptural dictate to them for this years Muslim festival. I wish all our muslim friends a happy season, God bless you all.”
