“Empowering Some Osun Youths With N1m Each Is A Dream Come True” – Aaraj
By Fatimah Bashir, Osogbo
In commemoration of Aaraj Empowerment Foundation’s 10 years anniversary, the Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Engr Raji Kehinde Aaraj has empowered some indigent youths of Osun State with one million naira each, stressing that many young millionaires will continue to immerge across Osun state through AEF.
This was revealed in an exclusive interview with Osun Reporters News Correspondents at his Osogbo residence on Sunday, explaining that the initiative started as a need to uplift the living condition of youths in the state.
In his words; “Giving a million naira to a person is a dream come true for me, it is what I have always wanted to do. A few years ago when I went to family house at Isale-Osun Osogbo, I was crying because I am a bit privileged and they are not, that was why we embarked on N20,000 interest-free loan for market women and they all appreciate and add value to their income.”
“Their living condition wasn’t favourable and then I prayed to God to bless me so that I will do more for my people and make sure I put smiles on their faces.”
Raji disclosed that the ongoing project of N1m for each youth will extend to numerous indigent and hardworking youths in the society as the years runs by.
He however appealed to the citizens to dispel the rumour that his foundation is being bankrolled by politicians, adding that no monitory or material support from any politician to his foundation.
