The human rights lawyers and civil groups, including the Arewa Youth Consultative Movement, had on Monday raised the alarm over an alleged plot by the Department of State Services (DSS) to frame up the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, over alleged terrorism sponsorship against Nigeria.

Addressing newsmen, the groups under the aegis of the Coalition of National Interest Defenders said it has concrete evidence to support its claims.


,,,,The convener of the coalition, Mr Tochukwu Ohazuruike at the media briefing further alleged that the plan is to keep Mr Emefiele for at least 60 days until after the general elections next year.
