Eid-El-Adiah: MUPAF Felicitates With Muslims, Preaches Piety, Patriotism

The leadership of Muslim Political Awareness Front (MUPAF) has sent goodwill message to the Muslims across the globe on the occasion of this year Eid celebration.

This was contained in a goodwill message made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS on Friday in Osogbo, MUPAF rejoice with members of the organization, State Government led by Governor Oyetola and the generality of fellow Muslims, praying for the blessing of this year eid.

The release signed by the national coordinator, Mallam Lukman Obembe also noted that the lessons in the eid el-kabir is beyond slaughtering of ram and rejoicing but to reflect over the season piety, patriotism and sacrifice.

“MUPAF wish to extend a very warm greetings to fellow MUPAF family in Nigeria at this festive period of Eid-el-Kabir. We salute the executive Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiak Gboyega Oyetola and his wife, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola as we join other Muslims around the world to mark a momentous deed of Islamic religious worship.

“We congratulate all Muslim brothers and sisters on this glorious occasion as we also profusely thank the Almighty Allah for keeping us alive to witness this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

“As Muslim faithfuls, we are very much cognizant of the fact that the relevance of the Eid-el-Kabir festival is for us to engage in a religious act of devotion meant to inculcate in us the Islamic virtues of obedience, piety, faith in the will of Almighty Allah, sacrifice, uprightness and candour.

“The privileged ones amongst us should be kind, generous and considerate of the socially and economically disadvantaged ones amongst us, so that Allah may continue to show kindness and compassion unto us as a people and the society in which we live as prescribed by Holy Prophet Muhammad (SWS).”
