EdoDecides: Official Election Results From 16 LGs By INEC (Full List)

The results of the Edo State governorship election held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 have been announced by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), local government by local government.

However, the PDP and APC agents countered each others on the authenticity of the results announced.

2) ESAN West Local Government

Comments: PDP Agent alleged that Vote for APC for Uhunmwonde Local Government and one other have been inflated, APC Agent debunked the allegations.

5) OVIA North East Local Government

APC: 13,225

Dr Tony, Agent for PDP said there was no BVAS results while APC Agent said the results was as announced. ZLP Agent said the rejected votes was too high.

6) ESAN South East Local Government

APC: 8,398

PDP Agent: Tony, this is another case of manufacturing of results, collation was not allowed to be done at the Ward.

APC: The results as announced was done accordingly, the result was done because of skirmishes at the center.

Other Agents also opposed the outcome of the results.

8) AKOKO Edo Local Government

Ballot papers were missing for two units as announced by Returning officer.

PDP Agent: On IREV there were units where APC manufactured votes and was assigned votes in many units.

APC Agent: All Agents signed the papers where there were issues.

9) ESHAN Central Local Government

PDP Agent, Tony: “INEC has manufactured again, this is ridiculous. This result is far worse than the results announced so far.”

10) ESAN North East Local Government

APC Agent: “We do not have copy of accredited voters.”

11) OVIA South West Local Government

ZLP Agent, President: “Am concerned about rejected votes.”

INEC Commissioner opposed to it, he said it is also the responsibility of the party to educate the voters.

Returning officer: There was an incident of lack of access to the Unit with 153 registered voters

PDP Agent, Tony: “I will like to say emphatically here that the votes announced here are 90% manufactured votes to inflate the APC votes.”

16) ETSAKO West Local Government

PDP Agent, Tony: “We would like to know where these figures came out from? I want please beg, we saw what happened in June 12 and last year election. None of us will be spared if there is conflagration. I reject all the results in all its entirety.”

APC Agent: “The results announced was the true reflection of what happened yesterday. That LG is the highest LG where we had the highest votes and the Deputy Governor that crossed to our party boost our results.”

However, the INEC Commissioner said results of two LGs are not ready, noting that the commission will reconvene shortly after a recess.(SOJ via TVC live update)
