DSS, police take over Emir of Kano palace
Reports reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that some armed policemen and operatives of the State Security Service, SSS, have surrounded the Kano Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu barring entry and exit from the palace.
According to reports, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II is expected to escort the newly-appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, to his district posting in Bichi.
Reports further revealed that, the Bichi palace is also surrounded by armed policemen.
At the time of filing this report, the reason for the security actions still sketchy.
