Delta Government Declares Curfew In Part Of The State Over killing
A dusk-to-dawn curfew has been imposed on Orhoakpor clan in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State following the murder of a community leader, ANTHONY OREH, by suspected cultists.
The council management attributed the 7:00pm to 7:00am curfew to the rising threats to the safety of lives and properties in Orhoakpor community.
Sources said that the community leader, who was a former vice president of the community was killed while trying to broker peace during a cult attack on the vigilante chairman in the community on Thursday.
