Court dismisses suit to disqualify Soludo as governor-elect
The Abuja Federal High Court has dismissed an action to disqualify Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as governor-elect of Anambra state.
Justice Taiwo Oladipupo Taiwo, in a judgment, characterized the lawsuit as frivolous, irritating and without merit.
The judge awarded a punitive sum of 2 million naira to the two plaintiffs to be paid to Soludo and his deputy, Ibezim.
