CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS: Osun Central gets N400m in 2019 budget (see details)

A community of active citizens tracking the implementation of government projects in their community to ensure service delivery, known as TrackaNG, has drawn the attention of the Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District at the 9th Senate, Dr. Ajibola Basiru and the people of Osun Central to this year constituency project in the 2019 budget.

Tracka, a project by BudgIT had tagged Senator Basiru to a series of projects totaling N400m nominated in the Senator’s senatorial district in the 2019 budget despite the budget was passed before his inauguration as a senator, asking the people of Osun Central to monitor the execution and delivery.

As characteristic of Tracka NG which usually tags public officials to tweets, has again commenced the tracking of 2019 constituency projects as indicated in the budget.

According to TrackaNG on twitter, renovation and furnishing of both Primary and Secondary Schools in Osun Central for two hundred and fifty million Naira (N250 Million) while N150 million was dedicated for construction of Community Education Centre within the Central Senatorial District of the State, making a total sum of N400 million.
