Buhari makes fresh appointments that affect JAMB, NUC, UBEC, NABTEB

The news reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has reappointed ISHAQ OLOYEDE as Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for a second term of five years.

The President also approved the reappointment of Professor ABUBAKAR RASHEED as Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission(NUC); HAMID BOBBOYI as Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission(UBEC); Professor IFEOMA ISIUGO-ABANIHE as Registrar of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB); and Professor PROMISE MEBINE as the Director of the National Mathematical Centre for another tenure.

Director, Press and Public Affairs, Federal Ministry of Education, BEN BEM GOONG, in a statement today, said the appointment alongside others were based on the recommendation of Minister of Education, ADAMU ADAMU.
