Buhari Makes Fresh Appointment
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has urged the Senate to confirm five commissioner-nominees to fill vacant positions in the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The President’s requests were contained in two separate letters read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan on the floor at plenary, urging the Upper Chamber to confirm another nominee for appointment as a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The nominees for appointment in ICPC include: Dr. MOJISOLA YAYA-KOLADE from Southwest; Mrs. ANNE OTELAFU ODEY from Southsouth; Alhaji GONI ALI GUJBA from Northeast; Dr. LOUIS SOLOMON MANDAMA from Northeast; and Senator ANTHONY AGBO from Southeast, while MOHAMMED SANNI BABA as the Federal Commissioner in RMAFC, representing Bauchi State.
