BREAKING: Gernot Rohr sacked as Super Eagles coach
Gernot Rohr has been sacked from his job as coach of the Super Eagles.
A report monitored on Omasports by Newsone Nigeria, indicates that the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has fired Gernot Rohr as the head coach of the Nigerian national football team popularly known as the Super Eagles.
It was learned that Gernot Rohr had been sacked despite his team’s progress towards the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Africa.
However, it was also reported that the three-time African champions Super Eagles finished top of Group C despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Cape Verde in Lagos on Tuesday.
