BREAKING: Edo APC Rally Suspended By IG
The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has suspended the rally of a faction of the All Progressives Congress scheduled for Benin, Edo State, on Friday.
The faction is loyal to the former Governor of the State who is also the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole .
According to the IG ’s letter, suspending the rally was communicated to the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Philip Shuaibu on Thursday.
The deputy governor showed a copy of the letter to newsmen in Abuja .
