At Last, Amotekun Begins Operation In Osun (Photos)
The team was led by Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Security Matters, Mrs Abiodun Ige where Joint Task Force that comprises Nigerian Army, Amotekun and Nigerian Police Force to enforce the lockdown order.
According to online report published on Amotekun, Protecting Yoruba People of Facebook, the Joint Task Force were fully on duty at Ifetedo-Oke Igbo boundary of Ondo and Osun to block passage of people and vehicular activities as part of the way to curbing the menace of COVID-19 in our dear state.
The online post reads: “FINALLY AMOTEKUN BEGINS OPERATION IN OSUN
“The Joint Task Force that comprises Nigerian Army, Amotekun and Nigerian Police Force led by the Special Adviser to Gov. Oyetola of Osun on Security Matters are fully on duty at Ifetedo-Oke Igbo boundary of Ondo and Osun to block passage of people and vehicular activities as part of the way to curbing the menace of COVID-19 in our dear state.
“This is how it is going on at Oyo-Osun border at Asejire, Ekiti and Kwara borders as well.
“Stay home and stay safe. Corona Virus is real.”
