APC ward exco suspends Party Chair, Secretary

In a letter signed by Ward executives sent to APC Chairman Ilorin West Local Government and obtained by Just Event Online TV on Tuesday

NOTIFICATION OF INDEFINITE SUSPENSION OF ALH MUYIDEEN IKOLABA AND RAFIU ONIGBEGI OVER ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES AND GROSS ABUSE OF OFFICE

,,,,We under-signed members of Alabama Central Ward Executive held an emergency meeting on Sunday 26th March 2023 and reviewed among other things before it, unanimously had a popular resolution on the immediate indefinite suspension of the ward estranged Chairman Alh. Muyideen Ikolaba and Secretary Rafiu Onigbegi over-proven anti-party activities and gross abuse of offices which is in line with Article 21(B) I-V of the party constitution.

We critically reviewed their actions during the electioneering period, Alh. Muyideen Ikolaba and Rafiu Onigbegi mischievously coordinated a forum that worked assiduously against the interest and success of the party by specifically with their unpatriotic and disgruntled fellows voted against the party during Presidential and National Assembly Elections. This pathetic action aimed to embarrass the party was known to all and sundry even to the party faithful outside Alanamu Constituency.

More also, both the Chairman and the Secretary signed an unsubstantiated publication citing the suspension of the State Secretary with a fabricated illegal Executive list which was against the knowledge or decision of entire members of the Executive, this was a flagrant act of impersonation and abuse of office which is against the ethics of our Progressive party.

This suspension notification for both is necessary because both of them have become moles in our midst working for the opposition party in our ward and the suspension takes effect from 27th March 2023,

To add to it, the Vice Chairman, Mr Babatunde Abubakar has unanimously agreed to continue as Acting Chairman of the ward and henceforth to be informed and called upon about any affairs relating to Alanamu Ward Central APC…
