APC Sets To Hold Parallel Congress In Ogun, Osun, Ebonyi, Enugu

The two factions of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun, Osun, Enugu and Ebonyi States loyal to the state sitting governors and their predecessors are set to hold parallel state congresses today in separate venues.

In Ogun, governor ABIODUN’s faction of the party would to hold its state congress at the M-K-O Abiola International Stadium, while AMOSUN had chosen the Ake palace ground as the venue for its state congress same day, while the Chairman of the Ogun State APC Congress Committee, WALE OHU, told journalists at the party secretariat that only the elections held inside the main bowl of the M-K-O Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta would be regarded as valid.

Reports also revealed that similar things will happen in Enugu, Ebonyi and Osun states as the party holds its state congress across Nigeria today.
