Ansar-ud-Deen Society Celebrates 75th Anniversary In Osogbo

The Osogbo branch of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigerian, is set to celebrate the 75th anniversary of her existence in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

In a release made available to OSUNREPORTERS NEWS by the planning committee’s Secretary, Mr. Yunusa Quadri in Osogbo revealed that the foremost Islamic Society will mark the 75th anniversary with different insightful programmes for four consecutive days.

Quadri noted that, visitation to Ilesa Prison yard in day one, Special Jummat Service, Health Talk and Medical Checkup are slated for day two, while walk to live and novelty match scheduled for day three of the event.

Presentation of Awards in honour of some eminent personalities is part of the event while issues that has to do with security in Nigeria would be discussed to mark the grand finally of the event by the invited guest speaker, Alh Dr. Mikail Folorunsho who is the Divisional Imam of ADS Olorunsogo and Lecturer at Osun State University with the theme; THE SECURITY CHALLENGES IN NIGERIA; CAUSES & ISLAMIC WAY OUT.

Expected to grace the anniversary ceremony as special guest of honour is the Osun State Governor, Alh Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola while Alh Taofeek Ibrahim Allahdey will chair the occasion.

The Asiwaju of Osogboland, Alh Hammed Omidiran as father of the day; Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alh Khamis Olatunde Badmus will be the Chief Host; Senator Amzat Bayo Salami and Alh Yahaya Yusuf Ayoola as host.

The Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye ll is the Royal Host while Justice Moshud Adeigbe (Rtd), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola, Rt. Hon Sulaiman Lasun Yusuf and Rt. Hon Muritala Akintunde Adegboye are expected to be the guest of honour.
ADS National Chairperson, Alhaja Sidikat Atinuke Daodu as Mother of the day and Alhaja Aolat Adefunke as Chairperson of the occasion.

The Osun State Missioner of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Alh Dr. Yunus Imogbemi; Alh Dauda Abidemi Oladepo who is the ADSN State Chairman; Alh Phar. AbdulAfees Akande, ADSN State Secretary and Osogbo branch Chairman, Alh Sulaiman Baruwa Omo-nuha will lead other branch Chairmen alongside members of the society to receive the invited guests.

Schedule of programme

As announced by the planning committee led by Alh Hameed Alaka Owoso, the 75th Anniversary will hold for four consecutive days between Thursday 26th and Sunday 29th September, 2019 at Ansar-ud-deen Multipurpose Hall, Sabo, Osogbo, the Osun State capital at 10:00AM.
