Another Popular Human Rights Activist Arrested By DSS

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Mahdi Shehu, a Kaduna-based activist and political commentator, over allegations of sharing a misleading video that has gone viral online.

According to reports, the arrest was revealed on Monday by Zagazola Makama, a counterterrorism and insurgency expert in the Lake Chad Basin, via his X (formerly Twitter) handle.
