Speaking on the Governor’s behalf, Mr Oladele Bamiji emphasized that youths should use what they have to change the society for better.
In his words ” We encourage the youths to continue to participate in the process of governance. We should not only be critics but also part of the process. One of the ways to do this as young minds is to utilize the use of communication technology we have in our hands. It is our generation. You have good ideas, put it up there, don’t keep it bottled up.
“Nobody can rubbish what the media can do as far as contemporary politics is concerned unless we want to deceive ourselves. People now have access to communicate with one another so easily.
“As we do that within ourselves as young folks, we should also use that to communicate especially on social media to those who have the privilege of leading us at various level of governance today. The media is a source of power that we can deploy to change things for our own good, for the betterment our society”
