Wickedness! Woman Throws Her 3-Year-Old Son Inside Well To Punish Husband In Osogbo

A woman, who is a resident of Osogbo, the OSUN State capital, Mrs. Rukayat Abdulrahmon has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command for allegedly killing her 3-year-old son, Ganiyu.

OsunReporters News gathered that the suspect, Rukayat reportedly threw her only child into the well at her residence at Olorunosebi community of Kola Balogun area in Osogbo on Sunday November 17.

As reported by eyewitness, she allegedly killed her son after her husband approached a Sharia Court for dissolution of their marriage.

As reported, the court gave the couple three months to resolve their differences, but the ugly incident which led to the death of boy happened five days to the expiration of the 90 days given by the Osogbo magistrate court.

The corpse was discovered in the well by a tenant who wanted to fetch water for laundry, the police arrested the deceased parents and other tenants.

At the police net, Rukayat reportedly confessed to killing her son to punish her husband who she doesn’t want to gain anything out of their marriage.

The Osun Police Command’s spokesperson, Mustapha Ketayeyanjue confirmed the incident and further disclosed that the suspect is cooperating with the police since the arrest was made.
