“We Were Invited To Kogi Governorship Election By Governor Seyi Makinde” – SUNDAY IGBOHO, ‘Auxiliary’ Confess

In Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Ondo States axis, Sunday Igboho is a popular name. He is known to have magical powers, he has large followers especially from the members of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

His presence in any area always bring fears in the community because of the alleged magical power. In a nutshell, Sunday Igboho is the KING OF BOYZ especially within the Southwestern Nigeria.

On Saturday’s Kogi State governorship election it was reported that Igboho is in the state. The questions on many lips are, is he contesting? What is his business in Kogi on the election day?

In an online viral video, Igboho told those who cared to listen that he was invited to Kogi State by the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.

As controversies over the violence experienced during the elections in Kogi state hasn’t died down, some people have hinted that Sunday Igboho was in Ayetoro-Gbede during the elections as instagram puts him there.

For context, a lot of violence was recorded in Ayetoro-gbede during the election. He was seen in company of “Auxiliary” of the Oyo State NURTW.

At a party recently though, Sunday Igboho bragged about how he has been in Kogi for over a week on the invitation of Governor Seyi Makinde to help with election issues.

Igboho said, “I was invited to Kogi by Governor Seyi Makinde who is trying to fix our state, Oyo to help with election issues, I have been there for a week but because the celebrant is important to me, I couldn’t be absent so I left Kogi at 4am and by the grace of God, I will be returning to Kogi tonight”, OsunReporters gathered.
