Today I rejoice with Almighty God for one of our senior colleagues Mrs Funke Egbemode, President Nigerian Guild Of Editors, Former MD New telegraph Newspapers and now Commissioner In State Of Osun.

Glory to Almighty God that My state of Osun has produced successful Leadership for our great union and Profession . 3 Presidents for the Nigerian Guild Of Editors, ( Gbenga Adefaye, Femi Adesina and Funke Egbemode) 5 Chairmen for the Lagos Council Of The NUJ ( Baba Dele Odebiyi,Prince Adeleye Oyedokun, Olufunke Fadugba, Deji Elumoye and Dr Qasim Akinreti) .

Dear colleagues we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. The entire people and government state of Osun appreciate Nigerian Journalists thank you 🙏

To all intents and purposes, Funke has remained a shinning star ⭐️ role model and mentor for all, more importantly Female Journalists.

This new appointment no doubt is a test of her resilience, diligence and high sense of responsibility for public service.

I pray to Almighty God to give my sister and Commissioner sound health, wisdom to discharge her responsibilities assiduously to the good people of state of Osun.

Governor Isiaq Gboyega Oyetola Lagos Journalists remained grateful within a spate of two months you found us worthy to pick three media practitioners from our council. Two Chief Press Secretaries and now a Commissioner. How many Favour’s Of Almighty God can we recount. During my tenure, we are counting successes.
