Igboora, where every family gives birth to twins

Igboora, in Oyo state has been distinguished for its uniqueness as a mysterious community where every family gives birth to at least one twins, OsunReporters News gathered.

According to a research, the community, which has attracted global attention is known for a particular delicacy called Ilasa, which was identified as the reason the people are blessed with the twins gene.

Due to this uniqueness, the community does celebrate twins festival every year, when all the grown up twins come back home dress in uniform rejoicing, dine and wine.

Speaking during this year’s celebration, the community leader, Oba Adedamola Badmus affirmed that it’s mysterious and described it as a gift from God.

According to him, the people do consume Amala(flour) with a particular soup made of Ilasa leave mixed melon, and that global researchers who had visited the community linked the delicacy to the situation of twins.
