Osun Victory Song: Oba Akewi Releases ‘Yoruba Superb Poetry’ (Ewì) On Oyetola’s Victory (get a copy)
A prolific broadcaster who has been in broadcast industry for two decades and a poetry exponent, Jolayemi Rotimi popularly known as Oba Akewi has released a bomb poetry (ewi) for the victory of the incumbent Governor of Osun State at the supreme court, His Excellency Gboyega Oyetola .
Oba Akewi, a guru in poetry is always known for his poetry to criticize and condemn the illicit act of Government, has released more than twenty albums, such as; oju ole ree, Advice to Mr President part one to three, Ijoba Ikooko, Advice to Nigeria part one and two, tani were, ogo akobi, Otoge for Sharaki in kwara, Bombu Pro and the one that will be out at the middle of this month of July ‘Isubu Alagbara’
In a release made available to the OSUN REPORTERS, Oba Akewi rejoices with Governor Oyetola, appreciates his good gestures since his inception to the corridor of power. He equally appreciates APC members for their loyalty and those that really supported the Governor. He did not forget to state the achievement of the Governor within the little time he has spent.
He appreciates Kayode Babaranti and Alhaja Fauziat Folake Olaniyan who are president and secretary of Oyee for Osun respectively for their zeal and enthusiasm in supporting the Governor.
The Yoruba poetry legend equally counsels the Governor not to let his people down and to work across the state so that his name will be written in gold.
Oba Akewi urges people and his fans to buy his latest album that will be out by the middle of this month of July 2019.
