BREAKING: 27 suspected ‘Yahool Boys’ arrested in Osogbo as EFCC recovers exotic cars, laptops, phones (checkout names and photo)
Ibadan Zonal Office of the anti-crime agency known as Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested 27 suspected internet fraudsters in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.
The arrest was made on Thursday morning when the operatives of the Commission stormed the hideouts of these suspects not less than 27 men and four ladies suspected to be girlfriends of some of the arrested guys.
As claimed by the suspects, some were graduates, students, computer engineers and businessmen, are currently undergoing interrogation to ascertain their level of involvement in the alleged act.
The acting Head of Media and Publicity of the commission, Tony Orilade said that officials had embarked on surveillance for weeks before the arrest of the suspected ‘Yahool boys’ was made.
Name of the arrested suspects are; Adeleke Peter, Babalola Abiodun, Aduroja Temitope, Abdulazeez Razak, Adesina Adewale, Osayintoba Dare, Adebowale Fadairo, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, Akinseye Samuel and Osanyintoba Femi, Austin Onyekachukwu, Oluwaseun Adesina.
Others include; Ibosiola Olamilekan, Ayoola Lekan, Abdullahi Owopade, Olatunbosun Kolawole, Saheed Adebola, Osanyintoba Pelumi, Ayo Bello, Samuel Emmanuel, Olalekan Oladele, Solomon Matthew, Oyelude Opeyemi, Quadri Olatunji, Ibrahim Alao, Tunde Bello and Fatolu Temitope.
The Commission also recovered Eight exotic cars including two Lexus and six Toyota brands, and many expensive phones with laptops were recovered by the Commission.
