Oyetola provides free train from Lagos on Eid-li-Fitri Celebration
Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has again provided free train for indigenes and others travelling from Lagos to the state for Muslims to celebrate this year Eid-li-fitri
For those traveling during the eid, the train will depart the Iddo Terminus in Lagos on Monday June 3 to the Nelson Mandela Train Park Station in Osogbo same day.
On Thursday June 6, The train will make a return trip to Iddo Terminus in Lagos on Thursday 6 June, taking off at 10am from the Nelson Mandela Train Park Station in Osogbo, the state capital.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has declared Tuesday and Wednesday as public holidays for the end of Ramadan celebration across Nigeria.
Citizens of neighbouring states have benefited from the free train usually stopping over in Abeokuta and Ibadan for states like Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti, Kwara and Ondo to benefit from the Lagos to Osogbo free train since it was initiated since 2011 by the Osun State Government.
