“Honour Bestowed On You By Your Alma Mater Is A Testimony Of Your Dedication To National Progress” – Titi Tomori-Ponnle Congratulates FirstLady, Oluremi Tinubu

Visitation of the Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to Osun State to receive a Special Honour from her Alma Mater has been described as a testimony and unwavering dedication to national progress and her invaluable efforts in promoting unity and development across the nation.

This is contained in a congratulatory message signed by the Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Her Excellency, Otunba Titi Tomori-Ponnle on Wednesday in Osogbo to congratulate and welcome the FirstLady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the state on the Special Honour bestowed on her by the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu will visit her Alma mater, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, on Thursday to receive a special honour.

While expressing deep gratitude to the University for her recognition, Tomori Ponnle notes that it is a significant occasion for the state which will further strengthen the state’s strong support for her efforts and those of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to Nigeria’s growth. She expressed happiness that the First Lady’s records of achievements of touching lives across the country, particularly lifting women and children out of poverty shows she is a mother of the nation, a virtuous woman and a pillar of support for the nation .

The Osogbo born grassroot politician who was the Director Of Southwest Grassroots Mobilization Engagement and Orientation Campaign in the 2023 APC presidential election, further described her as a shining example of a Nigerian woman who commits her life and service to lifting the downtrodden.

“It is my pleasure to welcome and congratulate the Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to our dear state on the occasion of her special recognition by the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. It is a testimony and unwavering dedication to national progress and invaluable efforts in promoting unity and development across the nation.

“This occasion will further strengthen the state’s strong support, especially our party (APC) for her efforts and those of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to Nigeria’s growth.


Tomori-Ponnle, however, urges members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), especially women in the state, to troop out to welcome the First Lady in solidarity for her commitment to the advancement of Nigeria.
