International Youth Day 2024: Wale David lauds impacts of Osun youth, calls for youth inclusiveness in governance
In celebration of the 2024 International Youth Day, a politician cum business tycoon, Olawale Ojedapo, famously known as Wale David, has felicitated with the Osun state youth and Nigeria at large for their incredible impacts in moving the society forward.
I a release made available to newsmen on Monday, Wale David honored the dynamic impact of young people in driving digital innovation for sustainable development.
While x-raying the theme of this year’s International Youth Day: “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” he highlighted the essential role of digitalization in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and reflect the remarkable contributions of youth in leveraging technology to foster peace, positive and sustainable change.
He emphasized the importance of utilizing one’s youthful energy to engage in meaningful activities, noting that the innovativeness of young Nigeria can drive the country to the promiseland.

“As we celebrate the incredible role that young people play in digital innovation and sustainable development, I encourage all youths to channel their energy into impactful endeavors and to serve as ambassadors of peace. Without peace, meaningful development is unattainable.”
He also used the opportunity to advise governments at all levels to be committed to youth inclusiveness in their administrations.
