Osun AMTEN re-elects Ejalonibu, calls for registered GSM engineers patronage
Nigerians have been advised to always patronize registered GSM engineer for the repair of their phones and other telecommunication gadgets, in order not to fall into the hand of quacks and fraudsters.
The newly reelected President of the Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria, AMTEN, Osun State chapter, Engr. Abdrasak Olanrewaju-Ejalonibu, gave the advice, after the peaceful election of the association, held in Osogbo.
Members from across Osun State attended the 2024 State’s general election of the Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria; where Engr. Rasaq Olanrewaju-Ejalonibu was returned unopposed, as the President of Osun AMTEN, with Engr Lawal Afeez, as the Vice President; Engr Kamarudeen Amobi, the General Secretary; Engr Ayodele Adeoye, the Treasurer, Engr Azeez Ahmed, Financial Secretary and Engr Fatimah Olaojo, as Organizing Secretary.
Other newly elected executive members of Osun AMTEN are Engr Muideen Abdul-Salaam, as Chief Whip; Engr. Adeoye Folagbade, Osun East Senatorial Coordinator; Engr Kazeem Adedokun, Taskforce Officer; Engr Isiaka Kolawole, Assistant General Secretary; Engr Isola Búníyámínù; Welfare Officer; Engr Rafiu Idowu, Social Director and Engr. Kameel Adegbenro as Auditor.
In his acceptance speech, the re-elected President of Osun AMTEN, Engr Rasak Olanrewaju-Ejalonibu, appreciated all members of the association for the confidence reposed in him and promised to consolidate on the existing achievements, for the benefit of the entire members.
In an interview with OSBC news, the chairman of the electoral committee, Engr Ismail Adisa, commended members of the Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria, Osun State chapter, for conducting themselves in an orderly manner, through the accreditation, manifestoes and Election proper, which he attributed to their maturity and unity that exists among them.
Engr. Kazeem Aderibigbe-Alàgbà is the Public Relations Officer of the Forum of AMTEN Chairmen across local government. He equally appreciated his people for their sense of responsibility and commitment; while pledging their continued support for the administration of Engr Rasak Olanrewaju-Ejalonibu, the re-elected President of Osun AMTEN, for it to record more laudable feats.
