Davido speaks about late Mum, Says “She Was A Baddie”

The ‘OBO’ crooner and Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his late mom, Veronica Hailey Imade Adeleke, was a “baddie.”

Davido disclosed this while remembering his late mother in a recent post on Instagram where he shared her picture in her academic regalia.

He wrote: “My mom was a baddie.”

Recall that Davido’s mum, Mrs Veronica Adeleke, died on March 6, 2003, at the age of 39. She was a lecturer at Babcock University, where Davido would later earn a degree in music.

Late Veronica lalso founded a band called ‘Davido’s Band’ in honour of her son.

Davido’s two daughters, Imade and Hailey, are named after her.
