FG Adds More Institutions To Student Loan Beneficiary (Full List)

Not less than 12 state government-owned tertiary institutions have been onboarded to the student loan application pool.

This was revealed by the management of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund on Wednesday.

In a statement signed by the Head, Media and Public Relations of the Fund, Nasir Ayitogo, the onboarding followed the successful submission and verification of data completeness.

The statement read; “With this latest addition, the total number of participating state government-owned tertiary institutions has now increased from the initial 36 announced earlier to 48. Students’ data from 121 institutions is outstanding.”

According to.the statement, the Fund urged all institutions that are yet to submit their student’s data to the Student Verification Portal to do so to enable their students to benefit from the scheme.

It also called on states whose data has been captured and successfully uploaded to urgently sensitise their students to apply, thereby bringing succour to students who are struggling financially whilst also bringing guaranteed revenue to the institutions.

Students from the above state government-owned tertiary institutions can now visit nelf.gov.ng to apply for the loan.
